What a wonderful couple! Samantha Millar and Brian Weber came all the way from the east coast to get married on March 7, 2012 at Waialae Beach. Sam was beautiful in her gorgeous white gown, Brian, you looked great also! Their family and
friends were great cheering them on. Rev. Kimo Taylor blew his conch shell with misty Kokohead in the background. A secular ceremony was performed by Rev. Kimo, leis were exchanged and the guests were given leis presented by the groom.
We are so happy the rain did not spoil your special day. Hopefully you enjoyed your vacation regardless of the storm this week. Thank you so much for sharing your special time with us. Mahalo, hope to see you again soon at A Wedding in Hawaii.

‎2/12/12 was a very special day for Nicole Romero & Charles Brown. They exchanged vows at Waialae Beach Park with Koko head in the background. Nicole was so radiant and beautiful in her beautiful flowing gown. Charles, dressed in shorts & a nice black/white aloha shirt looked at Nicole with such pride. What a nice couple! Our Rev Kimo Taylor presented them with a traditional Hawaiian ceremony, with the blowing of the conch shell. The exchanging of flower leis with a kiss on each cheek is a traditional gesture in Hawaii. Mr. & Mrs. Charles Brown, had us professionally video tape this special day, so that when their son arrives in a few months, he can someday say " I was there, mom & Dad!" We hope you enjoy the DVD and CD images of your beautiful wedding in Hawaii. Mahalo, and hope to see you someday again. Congratulations!

Dec 28, 2011 4PM at Waialae Beach was a extra special day for Bettina Larsen and Henrik Jensen of Denmark, celebrating their 5th year. It was a beautiful day, the gusty wind from the past week gave way to the normal trade wind. Rev Mike Nelson performed a beautiful vow renewal ceremony. The atmosphere was so serene and beautiful, that Bettina (to her surprise) was caught up in her emotion. Tears of happiness flowed freely. A very lovey, dovey couple, Bettina kept this special day a secret from Henrik as long as she could. They had taken a large Big Fat Hawaiian package with all the trimmings, so they will have lots of sweet memories to share with relatives and friends back home. They finalized the night with dinner on the top of the Ilikai at Sarento's restaurant. Thank you so much for having us share your 5th anniversay with us.

A beautiful ceremony uniting Ronda Belser, Christopher Harlan and their 3 beautiful daughters was held on Dec. 19, 2011 at Waialae Beach. With Rev Mike Nelson officiating, and professional musician Baron Bento playing the ukulele & singing, Ronda & Christopher became Mr. & Mrs. Harlan. The bride, beautiful in her long slim fit dress, did the traditional trashing of the dress in the beautiful sparkling waters off Kahala. The groom joined her in the water for the photo shoot. Congratulations Ronda and Chris, and thank you for having us share your special day with your family.

On Dec 17, 2011, Suji Kim and Chanston Choe celebrated their special day and became husband and wife at the beautiful Anela Chapel in Kapahulu, near Waikiki. The lovely bride was radiant even with the little sprinkle of rain. The mother of the bride and relatives were there to give them support. The two flower girls were adorable! A very nice and happy couple, we enjoyed them totally. They flew to Maui for a brief stay and should be back today to pick up their c/d with lots of beautiful pictures.

The new Mr. & Mrs. Kurko met 13 years ago on this day 12/15 at work. (They work for the same company). They had a wonderful time during the ceremony and getting photographed. Congratulations to Kelly Josephs & Louis Franco (Bree & David), who got married on Dec, 10, 2011 at Waialae Beach Park. Rain showers come and goes this time of the year in Hawaii, but it always opens up to some sun just for the happy occasion. Bree & David celebrated with drinks at Halekulani Hotel after the ceremony and our limo came back to drive them to take a cruise dinner on the Star of Honolulu. Honolulu Marathon

Tomorrow is the annual full Honolulu Marathon starting from Ala Moana Park. There are more then 21,000 runners currently registered to participate. Congratulations everyone, we really appreciate your participation, and we (those of us who live in the condos near Ala Moana Park) will try to tolerate all the noise starting a 4 in morning.

Pounding waves, last couple of days on the North Shore of Oahu, a success perfect for the Triple Crown Pipeline Masters in honor of surfer Andy Irons. Today is the last day and the waves are down from 20' sets yesterday. May the best surfer win!!!

What a happy and playful bunch of guys and gals who gave a hooping loud cheer after they were pronounced husband and wife. They all came from Canada, and we are so happy you did not need to use all the umbrellas you brought. They were having fun playing sword fight with the umbrella instead.

None the less, we had a happy couple Antoinette Newton and James Davis say their marriage vows with a little Hawaiian blessing sprinkling over them. Their little son and wedding party happily watched with so much happiness for the couple. The unity candle, although windy was successful lit
to everyone's delight. The bride looked so beautiful in her slim fit gown, with the handsome groom in Tuxedo watching her come down the sandy aisle. Their son was so cute in his little Tuxedo.
